With nearly twenty years of experience in architecture, Louis has developed a vast portfolio of impressive architectural projects varying greatly in size and type. He has successfully been involved in all phases of design and construction administration including management of design coordination, programming, code research, and contract documentation. As an owner and the lead Architect for GMA, Louis is responsible for overseeing all facets of the business. His team management approach and client focused mentality has been a powerful catalyst for growth of the company. In his free time, Louis enjoys brewing delicious beer and spending time with his wife Francine and their three daughters.

Dan came to GMA in 2014. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, he has nearly seventeen years’ experience in the industry. Dan has participated in essentially all project types and all phases of the project development process including design, construction documentation and construction administration. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, gardening and tackling any home renovation project that presents itself.

Jennifer has been an associate of GMA Architects since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Interior and Environmental Design from Illinois State University. Jennifer is NCIDQ certified and is an active member in the local St. Louis Design community. Jennifer’s responsibility is the design of a well thought out floor plan, with elements that are unique to each and every client beginning with programming through final installation. This includes preparation of space plans, design development, finish selections and furniture specifications.

What is your dream vacation? The Four Seasons in Bora Bora in an overwater bungalow.

If you weren't an Interior Designer, what would you be? I would be an event planner. I love to throw a party!
Frank has a twenty year relationship with the ARCO companies starting in 1995 while employed by the Henderson Group Architects. He has been a member of GMA Architects since 2002. A graduate of Washington University School of Architecture, he acquired Missouri Registration in 1994. Prior experience includes primary and secondary education projects for the Palm Beach County School Board, Hazelwood, Columbia, Wentzville and other Missouri and Illinois School Districts. Chesterfield Government Center is just one example of municipal and government projects where he served as lead architect. The primary project type while associated with GMA/ARCO includes large scale distribution centers, manufacturing and production facilities, large cooler and freezer buildings for food and beverage wholesalers and various retail developments. Site Development is a core skill, understanding the various physical and regulatory requirements to maximize investment. Frank enjoys spending time with his family which includes three grandchildren, regularly vacationing to the Oregon coast for fishing, hiking and relaxing on the beach. He is a member of the Webster Groves Architectural Review Board and supports his community through Habitat for Humanity and serves on his local subdivision committee.

Bob has been a member of the GMA team since 2010 and has over 17 years of experience. He has a very diverse and broad array of project management experience in many different fields of architecture. At work he enjoys the contest of meeting tight deadlines, providing the best service possible and challenging others to exceed where they think they can’t. In his spare time, Bob enjoys being with his family and friends, watching movies, coaching youth sports, technology, and cooking.

Mariel has been a member of GMA since 2013. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. She derives immense satisfaction from meeting challenging design constraints, and enjoys designing spaces to suit each individual client. In her free time, Mariel dabbles in multiple hobbies including cooking and photography.

Vince joined the GMA team in December of 2013. He brings a diverse set of knowledge and skills, which includes a strong background in accessibility and three-dimensional modeling/rendering capabilities. Having graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Technology degree, Vince gained an understanding in both design and the technical aspects of construction early on. His interest in design is not limited to architecture, as he also enjoys performing and composing original music, as well as painting and drawing.

Grant joined the GMA team in 2015. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University. With more than 10 years of professional experience Grant is familiar with all project phases from marketing and procurement through contract administration and project close-out. He brings a wide range of project experience across several sectors including Hospitality, Industrial, Commercial and Retail. Away from the office Grant enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Additionally he is an avid guitar player and a life-long performing musician.

Lani came to GMA in 2015. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Southern Illinois University. Prior experience includes commercial and retail design projects ranging from 4,000 SF to 250,000 SF throughout the United States. At work, she enjoys creating exciting, efficient, and well-organized designs which not only meet the client’s needs, but also inspires the client. Lani’s responsibility is the design and creation of floor plans, exterior building elevations, 3D building models, and photo-realistic renderings. In her spare time, Lani enjoys spending time with family, drawing, hiking, and traveling.

Michael joined the GMA team in 2015 after graduating with his Masters of Architecture from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. As project architect Michael is responsible for overseeing the design, providing initiatives for LEED certification, as well as supporting the contractors by reviewing shop drawings and preparing and issuing site instructions. Working in an industry that is constantly evolving is one reason Michael was drawn to architecture - that and his realization at a young age he had a strong passion for design. In his free time Michael can be found watching anything related to sports and he also enjoys trips out to Colorado to go snowboarding.
If you weren't an Architect, what would you be? If I didn't have such a strong passion for design I believe my career choice would've been in Sport Medicine.
What is your dream vacation? My dream vacation is to travel to Europe for 2 weeks experiencing famous pieces of architecture.

Adam comes to GMA with over seven years of professional experience within the architectural field. His experience, skills, and education maximize the overall success of each projects design, schedule, and budget. Adam has participated in essentially all project types including healthcare, government, entertainment, industrial, and even theme parks. In his free time Adam can be found enjoying photography, running, snowboarding, and playing guitar.

Trenton joined GMA in 2016 and has quickly become an asset to the GMA Chicago design team. Trenton comes with a strong background in construction and along with the rest of the GMA team will be responsible for preparing the design, structure specifications, materials/colors, equipment, estimated cost, and construction timeline. Trenton is here to ensure that the project layout meets client expectations. As one of the newest members at GMA, Trenton has expressed his excitement for working within an interdisciplinary structure like found here at ARCO and GMA. This model provides pleasant, cost-effective, efficient turn-arounds. In his free time, Trenton can be found exploring the city of Chicago or having a glass of scotch while tinkering with computers.

Jay joined GMA in 2016. As a graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Architecture and has gained extensive experience throughout the years by working as an intern, consultant, and designer. Jay is dedicated and excited to demonstrate his abilities; his background and past experience attest to his skills and vison as an architect. Jay has gained insight and hands on experience working within the following project phases: preliminary drawings, schematic drawings, construction documents, addenda, and shop drawings. In his free time Jay enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, fishing, and having fun with friends.

Nick joined GMA in 2016 and comes with over 6 years of professional experience within the architectural field; offering a background in surveying, design, and project coordination. With Nick’s extensive education and on-the-job knowledge, he brings a special skill set to the projects in which he is a part of. Nick’s ultimate mission is to provide an approach to his designs that will not only help save time but also increase the quality in the final product. In his free time Nick can be found renovating old homes, woodworking, urban farming, Ultimate Frisbee, cycling, and rock climbing.

Matt recently graduated with his Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois - Carbondale. He comes to GMA with a great understanding of the design process and structural design as well as a background in graphic design. Matt will be leading production during schematic design and design development, and he will be overseeing construction during all phases of the project to ensure that building design stays true to the plans. Bringing his educational experience and support to others in the corporation will aid in maintaining the project schedule, thus leading to a successful project delivery. In his free time Matt can be found enjoying baseball and traveling.
